Stormy weather Part 582

Okay, not really. That's just what it feels like to me. And this is only the beginning of Spring. We had a wild ride again last night. It seemed to play out just like Friday night's storms. That is scary enough for me. In all honesty, I know there's crappy weather just about every place in the world. I just wish the tornadoes didn't like Indiana so much. From watching the Weather Channel, I realize that there are a number of cities that have had damage from the two rounds of severe weather. All I can think about is the fact we are just entering Spring. It did get bad enough in my town that we had to go down into the basement again. I had taken a nap because I was in a lot of pain due to a headache. I think it was more or less due to the pressure coming across the state from the storm because I had to do the same thing on Friday night. When I woke up to take my blood thinner, I turned it to the Weather Channel. Sure enough, there was another line of super bad storms marching across the Midwest. Chris had gotten a phone call from a friend of ours who started playing the same game he is trying to conquer. I had told him not to go over to the friend's house because of the storms heading our way but he said he wouldn't be that long and the storms wouldn't be here that quickly. Little did he know! Not more than ten to fifteen minutes after he had left (the friend only lives about five minutes away), the emergency sirens went off. When he came through the door, I laughed because I had told him not to go. Men. They don't listen often enough.

Today it's still cloudy and grey outside. I know that it's supposed to be colder as well for the first part of this week with another chance of severe storms coming up this weekend. Hopefully I can make it through the week without a lot of pain. So far I'm just swollen and tired today. I feel a little tenderness but not to the point it would keep me from doing this post or even reading for a bit. I was able to do a few rows on my cross stitch. I'm really wish I was able to sit down and whip right through it. But the look on the person's face that I give a finished project to is worth all the time it takes me to do it. Still working my way through the third LOTR book. Slowly but surely I will have it read by the end of the week. Still stuck on where the re-work is taking me on my Alan novel. I've decided to call it that because that is the name of the lead character. I don't know which way the chapter I'm stuck on is going to go. Therefore I'm going to read through it again and just see what comes out. To me, if it feels right, I don't want to mess with it too much.

But for now, I'm off to do a few email before my hands get too tired. I hope all is well there with all of you. My thoughts are with each one of my friends, both old and new. Take care.

Love and blessings,
Kim
