Happy Halloween
Yes, I know I've been gone a long time. I will honestly admit that I haven't been myself as of the past 11 months since my brother passed away. I first thought that it would be easier to get through the grief because I've always known that he wasn't going to be one of the people who got to grow old. But in reality, I haven't been able to do much of anything without thinking of Billy lately. It really overwhelmed me the past couple of days and without my family and a couple really close friends, I wouldn't have pulled through at all.
I believe I'll start posting again. Though I don't know if it'll be much at the moment. NaNoWriMo starts tonight at midnight and I'm honestly going to give it a huge try this year. I've been sitting on a few ideas the past few days. Maybe it'll jumpstart my writing again. But tonight....tonight it about remembering those who have left us. I have continued my tradition of making a harvest dinner and setting an extra place setting for those I've lost. There's so much that I want to say but it can wait til tomorrow.
